corporate stewardship reports
blending illinois and corporate branding
during my time working as a graphic design intern with the university of illinois office of corporate relations, i had the opportunity to work on many projects, including stewardship reports for companies. these reports, typically 20-30 pages in length, showcase campus highlights, areas of interest for the company, funding charts, and much more.
the design process for these reports starts with a document holding all of the information, prepared by our marketing and communications team, handed off to me to begin laying out each page. the style of each book is determined by the specific company and is meshed with the university's specific branding structure, composed of colors, fonts, photos, and language.
each report goes through several steps of revisions based on internal requests before being published online and eventually printed. going through this process for multiple company's reports helped ground my understanding of marketable research, stewardship, funding partnerships, print formatting, and implementing brand identities.
